About the Event
We're so excited! After much too'ing and fro'ing (yes I know they're not real words but roll with me here, the excitement is high), we've managed to score a whole bunch of awesomeness for this months tribe gathering. It does involve a date change (from Tue 5th to Thu 7th) and I apologise for the late notice and hope you can shuffle your very important dates and engagements and join us anyway. Drum roll please...
So. We've been given the opportunity to have our June gathering at Hachette Australia in celebration of the book launch of the The Million Dollar Handshake by our very own Catherine Molloy. Those of you in Protege have probably had Cath's pretty amazing one day intensive, so you'll know what I mean when I say it's worth adjusting your diary to make this gathering (personally I've shifted an anniversary date so that should tell you something, right?)
Come along and learn how your handshake can open doors for you, meet some of the Hachette team and network with with other Speakers Tribe members and our guests.
The night is going to be awesome, opportunities to practice your speaking and get feedback plus you'll get to implement some of your own million dollar handshakes and introduction skills in the networking time.
Nibbles and drinks will be available, and books will be available to buy and get signed by Catherine. Bring your business card for a chance to win the door prize (and secret squirrel, if you're really good at your million dollar handshake, you might be able to slip one to one of the Hachette team if you're close to publishing your own book.)
All welcome and we're looking forward to seeing you! Doors open at 6pm at the Hachette offices in Kent Street, and we'll kick off at 6.15pm (don't panic if you got tied up at work, you'll be able to sneak in a little late I'm sure.)
Tickets are free for this gathering (yay!) however RSVP's are essential for catering purposes (and if you've already RSVP'd on the old date, we'll be refunding that in the next day or two) so please get your ticket by clicking on this link.
